ELEMENTARY TEACHER & MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER

We have openings for the 08-09 school year for teachers who are looking for an educational community where they can actively engage students in the learning process, provide creative, challenging and integrated curricula, and who can teach using multi-modal methods. Our classes do not exceed 18 students and average 12-16 students. The successful elementary teacher applicant will have experience teaching at the elementary level as they will be responsible for a self-contained classroom. The successful middle school teacher applicant will have experience teaching as they will be responsible for facilitating homeroom as well as teaching core courses.

SPANISH TEACHER

We have an opening for the 08-09 school year for a part-time Kindergarten-8th grade Spanish teacher. Hours of instruction are approximately 12-3:00pm, Monday-Friday. Our curriculum for each grade level includes active, hands-on learning experiences. Our elementary curriculum promotes familiarity with hispanic culture and provides vocabulary and phrases to facilitate conversation. Seventh and eighth grade students are expected to build on the conversational groundwork built in the early years and add reading, writing and grammar. The successful teacher applicant will have experience with teaching spanish to children of many ages and will provide creative, challenging and integrated learning activities using multi-modal methods.
