Seneca Academy 5th grade students will be presenting their Exhibition projects on Thursday April 30th from 7-8:30pm at Seneca Academy. Exhibition is the culmination of study at an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB/PYP) school. The Exhibition process enables students to engage in a 6-week long, in-depth, collaborative inquiry and allows them to demonstrate independence and responsibility for their own learning. This process requires the use of all the various skills students have learned over time (i.e. observing, questioning, collaboration, organization, time-management, reading, writing, presenting, etc.). Through the Exhibition, our students demonstrate how they can take action as a result of their learning. We invite the community to attend this event and help us celebrate the transition of our 5th grade learners from primary to middle school education.
