Happy summer Seneca Academy students!
We hope you are enjoying your summer break and are having lots of adventures and positive experiences. We look forward to hearing about them in the fall! We also want to make sure that you are practicing important academic skills over the summer to help you to be ready to learn when you return to school. We have listed suggested books to read as well as math games to play over the summer for practice.
Reading
For rising 1st through 4th graders, these books lists are taken from the Montgomery County Public Library website and are suggestions only. Please read as much as you can, whatever you’d like!
For rising 5th and 6th graders, Mr. Ownsworth and Mrs. Karim have put together an activity for you to complete this summer, along with suggested books to read. Please read their specific letters to you. Your completed activity will be shared in the first week of school.

Listed here are Everyday Math games taken from your coursework this previous year. Please play these games as much as you’d like- they are good reinforcement of the concepts you have learned. Please only play the games for the grade level you just completed, do not go ahead. We want to ensure that you are doing these activities properly.
