Kit Club FAQs

What activities are available?

Children will enjoy stories, imaginary play, and centers. They will also go outside and play on the playground equipment, in the sandbox, and on the scooters, weather permitting. Our Gathering Room becomes an indoor play area when needed.

Is there a nap time?

Children are not required to nap. Our schedule includes a "brain rest" for about 40 minutes each day between 2:00 and 3:00. This is an important time for children to rest, relax in their own thoughts, and reenergize their bodies. Some children may fall asleep; some may listen to the music or story; and some may engage in a quiet activity on their mat. Please send in a small towel (bath size is great) in a ziplock baggie for your child to place on top of their mat. Be sure to label the towel with your child's name.

Is there an afternoon snack?

We serve a snack around 3:00. If your child has food allergies or a dietary restriction, please send a snack in a container or baggie labeled with his or her name.

When can I pick up my child?

You may pick up your child at any time during the afternoon. Enter through the front door and we can direct you to your child. Kit Club may be inside or outside depending on the time of day. We also have a carpool pick-up (combined with our elementary carpool) for children leaving at 3:15 pm.

I am curious about something else! How can I get more information?
