We are proud to be the first International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Candidate Program in a private school in Montgomery County, Maryland. Seneca Academy is located in Darnestown, Maryland on a six-acre National Wildlife Federation Certified Schoolyard Habitat. We are conducting weekday tours of our school, so that parents can see our classrooms in action. Come join us to learn about the curricula for our preschool programs, Kindergarten, and 1st through 6th grades.
Seneca Academy is a candidate school* for the IB Primary Years Program. This school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Seneca Academy believes is important for our students.
