Seneca Academy is a non-profit, independent day school, founded in 1983, serving children preschool through fifth grade. We are located in Darnestown, Maryland on a six-acre National Wildlife Federation Certified Schoolyard Habitat and are proud to be the only private authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Program World School in Montgomery County, Maryland. Seneca Academy is accredited by the Association of Independent Maryland and DC Schools (AIMS) and the Maryland State Department of Education.
