Each year, the Seneca Academy community gets together for our auction and gala: a social evening of fun and giving to support the school. At this year’s silent auction, we will raise funds to support tuition assistance to our students, professional development of our teachers, and upgrading the outdoor campus as well as technology within the school. We appreciate the financial support from around our community, as well as the donations of goods and services, to help us meet our goals.
Given the rapidly evolving news about COVID-19 and the measures that we will have to take as a community to mitigate the spread of the virus, the annual Gala, scheduled for March 28th at Bretton Woods, has been canceled. Instead, we will be looking for another opportunity to bring us all together to celebrate each other and our village. These are unprecedented and unusual times for all of us and we greatly appreciate your kindness and flexibility as we figure out an alternative way for this celebration to occur.
In these times of social distancing, though, we do feel that it is important to find alternative ways to enjoy ourselves while supporting Seneca Academy. With that in mind, Seneca Academy will be having its annual silent auction online! While we are disappointed to not be gathering together in person this year, we are excited about the many wonderful donations that our community has given and thrilled to offer them to you despite the event not going as planned. More information will be sent about how to participate in the days ahead.
